We all know marketing and design should be driven by research, but boring presentations, complex project timelines, and stakeholder politics kill the voice of the customer.

LivingPersona creates a digital twin of target customers that can give real-time feedback, accelerate product development, and empower businesses to make decisions backed by data and aligned with customer needs.

Problem:

Research efforts often go to waste because nobody reads those hundred page slide decks, based on one million sticky notes, three months of research, or 100 client interviews.

‘Research porn’ feels high and mighty: everyone claps, budgets keep coming, but nobody really understands.

The decisions don't change. The baton is dropped.


Process:

This was Blueprint’s first consumer-facing web app that was designed and developed in-house.

  • We started with our work at Truist Financial Corporation: delivering design work better and faster by using AI as an empathy machine.

  • We realized this could improve not just the way we work, but how clients, in-house partners, and other organizations interact with and understand our user research.

  • So we ran a test and people wanted it.

  • Design began, first with wireframes, and then high fidelity prototypes.

  • We then built ferociously for a month until the vision became reality.
