But Cona envisioned something new - a private digital currency that could intelligently incentivize behaviors, not just exchange value.
They approached Blueprint to distill their technical complexity into strategic resonance.
Problem:
Cona's intricate concept obscured the core human insight. People struggled to grasp and remember their offer.
True genius is taking the complex and making it simple yet meaningful. For example, everyone knows Einstein's equation e=mc2 despite the complexity of the proof.
Process:
Blueprint employed an "ai-augmented semantic design process" to uncover Cona's essence. This project embodied our blueprint blackbox approach of designing businesses around meaningful narratives. We:
Interviewed the Cona team
Mapped the semantic landscape with LLM embeddings and cluster charts
Abstracted the language into objective descriptors
Reframed “digital private currency” as a "motivation exchange technology"
Used AI to rapidly create strategic narratives in the new space
Tested for memorability with target users
Iterated until we struck a chord that stuck

When all was said and done, painting complete, linseed oil dry, we arrived at something that accurately represented the meaning of Cona in people’s minds but was also memorable and therefore it was likely for them to develop a relationship with Cona and tell their friends about it.

We are currently working with the Cona team to (a) build out their brand in a way that aligns with this new ‘north star’ and (b) make sure that the promises made transfer into every touchpoint of their service.
